Characteristics Background Reducing Buffer has been developed for the reduction of nonspecific background while simultaneously allowing for the reduction of use of animal serums in the laboratory. It has been optimized for immunohistochemistry, and requires no mixing or diluting.
Protocol This product has been optimized to be an effective blocker for IHC. Incubate for 10 minutes at room temperature prior to applying primary antibody. This product can also be directly used as primary antibody diluent.

Format Liquid
Buffer Tris buffer, pH 7.4 with 2% BSA, 0.2% casein and less than 0.1% sodium azide.
Preservative Sodium azide
Precaution of Use 1. Take reasonable precautions when handling reagents. Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
2. Avoid contact of reagents with eyes, mucous membranes and skin. If reagents come into contact with sensitive areas, wash with copious amounts of water.
3. Consult local or state authorities with regard to recommended method of disposal.
4. Avoid microbial contamination of reagents.
Handling Advice Do not freeze.
Storage 4 °C
Storage Comment The user must validate any other storage conditions. This reagent must be returned to the storage conditions identified above immediately after use. When properly stored, the reagent is stable to the date indicated on the label. Do not use the reagent beyond the expiration date.
